Delft Spline Systems offers
DESKTOP CNC MILLING MACHINES
Delft Spline Systems is a Dutch software house, founded in 1985, specialized in the development and the use of CAD/CAM software for complex freeformed geometry. We started as spin-off of Delft University of Technology, releasing a CAD/CAM program called SipSurf. This was MS-Dos software offering Spline surfaces (NURBS), which explains the company name.
In 1995 we released a completely new program called DeskProto: Windows software for "Subtractive Rapid Prototyping", which has been our flagship product ever since. DeskProto offers "3D CNC machining for non-machinists". It reads STL files from any 3D CAD system, and exports NC files for any CNC milling machine. More information on www.deskproto.com.
In addition Delft Spline Systems is a reseller for two brands of desktop CNC milling machines: Isel (Germany) and Roland (Japan). So we can offer DeskProto in combination with an affordable CNC milling machine. This site www.spline.nl is our machine website.
